Great Roswell Duck Race 2008

When:         Saturday, September 27, 12:45 pm;

                The duck race follows the Rivers Alive event.  

Where:      Big Creek footbridge on Oxbo Road

Prizes:       First place - $100, second place $50.

You do NOT have to be present to win; you will be called!

Roswell Mayor Jere Wood will be the official race starter along with all the kids present. 

KiRBy, the official KRB Mascot, will be the event’s Grand Marshall.

The idea for the Annual Great Duck Race came from Frank Hasty, a board member of Keep Roswell Beautiful.

• Alive After 5:00 on August 21 and September 18

• Day of the race at Rivers Alive, Riverside Park.  $3.00 for one or $5.00 for three

• City of Roswell Environmental/Public Works Office at 38 Hill Street, Suite 235
