Community Appearance Index

Every summer, the KRB Board conducts a windshield assessment of our community’s litter. This index, required annually as a Keep America Beautiful affiliate, provides a snapshot of the litter in the City of Roswell.  Volunteers individually rate the litter they see in five different areas of Roswell, based on the five police zones. Scale 1 – 4 (1=no litter and 4=extremely littered). The scores for the last 10 years are below. A 0.2+ increase in litter presence was detected this year, however the City is still rated as “minimally littered.”
